Singer, songwriter and pianist Vera has been described as a ‘Jazz chick with hits’ by Richard Niles and a ‘truly gifted improviser’ by Pete Churchill. An ex-Trinity College of Music and Royal Academy of Music student she receivedthe Elton John Scholarship in London and in 2007 was awarded a Yamaha Jazz Award .

Now with international festivals (recently San Francisco, Paris, London, LA)and other awards under her belt sheblends her passion for jazz with a modern edge; a fresh take on groove which she infuses into her own song writing and a new slant on old songs. She sites many influences including Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, James Taylor and Nat King Cole.

For weddings and corporate events she performs a blend of contemporay music with jazz standards and some of her beuatiful original music.
